Kick-Off
In a joint kick-off workshop (1 - 3 hours, depending on complexity), we will discuss your company's/department's innovation project. The goal is to identify the implicit and documented knowledge about the project and to establish a shared understanding of the approach.
01
Knowledge
In Phase 1, the relevant information media, channels, and carriers are identified. Based on the results, suitable methods for compiling knowledge are derived. This is followed by the compilation of the information and finally its preparation for the ethics assessment.
02
Ethical Analysis
In this phase, the actual ethics/compliance assessment takes place: Based on the previously consolidated information, the ethical challenges are precisely identified, an ethics matrix is developed, and the content is systematically organized. An iterative approach promises the closest possible approximation.
03
Documentation & Reporting
Phase 3 consists of deriving recommendations from the ethics matrix. A debriefing and the formulation of the ethics advisor's report for the European Commission or the EU Horizon team conclude the process.

Founder/CEO, New Space / Deep Tech
Earth observation meets ethics assessment – that was just as new territory for us as the funding from the EU Horizon program as a whole.
Being able to establish the proof-of-concept framework for Matthias' Ethics-as-a-Service approach proved to be a win-win situation. It's unlikely that it would be possible to achieve this faster, with fewer internal resources, and simultaneously in such depth.

CEO, B2B SaaS Start-up
As a start-up, we don't have the resources for compliance projects that last for months. The EthaaS process allowed us to complete the ethics assessment for EU Horizon funding almost as an afterthought – the product team was of course involved, but could concentrate on its core work.

PL Digitalization, City Administration
In the public sector, many digitalization projects stumble over transparency requirements – often not only those of the regulatory authorities, but also those of the employees. The implementation of the EthaaS method has fostered greater understanding and sparked a new internal discussion on AI and responsibility. This has been a real added value.
